(Leila's ) Pedigree
Crabbet / Polish  Arabian Mare

Sire: Silvern Magic.  / Dam: Stormy Gal

This elegant sweet grey mare was 07' Maine State champion in youth showmanship Her
speciality is saddleseat & has been shown  in the class A Region 16 shows. She has brought
back many ribbons. We are very lucky to have her. She is well built & has a unique but classic
arabian look.  She is talented & showy.
Her sire Silvern Magic was imported from the UK.
Tail Female: Rodania: Rodania was bred by the Ruala Tribe in Arabia. Somewhrere in her early
years Rodania acquired the label - the celebrated mare. Rodania's life story in the desert can
best be described as intrigue, family feuds, war, and of the Bedouin value of choice mares.
Rodania was owned by Beneyeh Ibn Shaalan of the Ruala, but in 1878, at the age of nine, she
was taken dishonestly from him by his cousin Sheik Sotamm Ibn Shaalan, only to be taken
from him two year later in war by Tais Ibn Sharban of the Gomussa Tribe. On April 26, 1881,
Lady Anne and Wilfrid Scawen Blunt of Sussex, England imported her from Arabia to the
United  Kingdom. She was the dam of 5 registered purebred arabian foals. She was also the
founder of  the Polish female family and the England female family.
Rodania became the most cited tail female in the pedigree of the U.S. National champion halter
stallions. She is prominently represented in the pedigrees of the Egyptian, Polish, Spanish,
Russian, as well as the Americans and others.

She was one of the most influential mares in the Arabian breeding history
Strain: Kuhaylan Rodan. The Kuhaylan strain in general is characterized by a more masculine
symmetrical, and balanced apperance. They are broad across the chest  back, croup, forearm ,
and gaskin. They Kuhaylan tend to be of a quieter nature. They have a more foward type of
movement which creates a look of flowing lines from head to tail.
