Many of our friends came to support us, and we made many new friends being there. This was our first time bringing our horse to the Equine Affaire, and we want to thank every one who helped us with this memorable experience. A special thanks to Joan Stone from Stone Image Arabians, and Barbara Reynolds for helping us get into the Equine Affaire, and allowing us to present our stud colt in the breed exhibit and the Arabians breed demo. Thanks to Debbie Putnam for her time and patience over the phone getting us prepared for the Equine Affaire. A very special thank you to our dear friend and trainer Carol Petell for staying with the girls at the Equine Affaire. They endured five long and cold nights staying in a stall next to our stallion. Thanks to my husband Tom for bringing me back and forth from the Equine Affaire to my farm. (I was able to sleep in a nice warm bed) and for helping us set up at the Equine Affaire. We wish many thanks to Wendy Hicks and her wonderful beautiful daughter Sam for coming to support our stallion at the breed demo . We also wanted to thanks Leslie Brooks and her son George for also supporting us. Thanks to Kenneth Desjardins from Noble Arabians for giving us a hand at the Equine Affaire. A big thanks to our neighbor Dennis & Marcy Mchughs from Brookside for supporting us and giving us a warm meal after freezing in our stall for three days. Thanks to Michelle Mccassie for taking care of our horses while we were at the Equine Affaire. Our stud colt did very well in the breed demo, as he proudly presented himself in front of a crowd of people. He gained a lot of compliments for his looks and the way he was put together. A very pleasant surprise for us was when we discovered that we were stalled right next to our stud colt SI Prince Ali Shiraz's half brother. SI Ali's Capt. Sparrow. Seeing them stalled next to each other was really special because they looked almost like twins. Ali's Capt. Sparrow is a wonderful and handsome stallion. And we wish the best of luck to our newest friends, Josh & Rebecca O'Brien in making their dream come true with him. One more thank you to DJ House from Sunset Acres Farm for giving us a big hand on packing all of our stuff while we were getting ready to pack up from the Equine Affaire to come home. DJ was aw some.
